Edison bulbs giving way to the new CFL  Now LED.

We are going to say good bye to incandescent bulb or edison bulb soon. It is better to know on the new generation power saving bulbs. The follwing may be hellpful for you

Unlike incandescent light bulbs, CFLs are available in a variety of color temperatures to suit every room in your home. Color temperatures are measured in degrees Kelvin K. The higher the temperature, the whiter the light.

Flood bulb is used for reflective spaces like recessed light, dining table  light, pot lamps etc

Don't buy anymore CFL and Tube lights. Tube lights and CFL contains mercury. Now cheap unbreakable LED lights with long life is available. Go for LED
